Being Transformed from Glory to Glory
How to Walk in God’s Plan for Wholeness
In this book, you will find the foundational principles necessary to build your life in Christ. This discipleship primer is non-denominational in nature. Every principle, every expressed thought and every sentence comes directly from or is concretely backed-up by multiple scriptures. There is nothing presented that is outside basic Biblical doctrine. This book has been reviewed by four pastors, as well as many others for scriptural accuracy and presentation.
My desire is to bring to you, in a linear growth format, the basic tenets for Biblical living. God has an abundant life for those who walk in His ways and will live according to His Word. At the end of each chapter, you are given an opportunity to respond to what you have read and ask God to impart His revelation through prayer.
Chapter’s One and Two will lay a scriptural foundation for your Christian experience—the fundamental building blocks for understanding who you are ‘in Christ.’
Chapter Three explores the intimate relationship that God desires to have with each and every person. Worship is the means by which we enter into God’s presence and commune with Him, our wonderful loving Heavenly Father.
Chapter’s Four and Five explain and demonstrate the importance of taking God’s word and applying it to your life. You will learn what it means to walk in agreement with the precepts and principles of Scripture. His Word brings true life and wholeness to us if we will apply it to our lives, both in a natural application as well as a supernatural—we live in a dual world, the temporal and the eternal.
Chapter Six brings us into God’s plan to be healed and set free in our whole man: spirit, soul (mind, will and emotions) and body. Jesus came so that we could experience true freedom and an abundant life—to be made whole.
Chapter Seven is an overview of the steps taken in the first six chapters, explained from a fresh new perspective. The principles, truths, and admonitions are presented from a different vantage point to help us see how God brings us through the process of being transformed from glory to glory. God transforms us so we can fulfill the destiny He has for each of us.

Having the Mind of Christ
Discovering the Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge
Re-released Jan. 2023
Priced at only $18.99 USD
To know God’s thoughts, and His thoughts toward us, we must have the ability to understand what He has said. The primary way we know God’s thoughts is through His Word, the Bible. However, as you will see, His Word has a “living” element to it. God’s Word is living. This book is about stepping into the place where we can know God as a good Father and have the mind of His Son, Jesus.
So That Every Person Can Know Him
Having the Mind of Christ will help you reach the people in your sphere of influence with the Gospel Message, as articulated by the Bible.
This book is designed to reach:
- The person who wants to please God but has cobbled together unscriptural beliefs about Him
- The person who professes Christ but lives a compromised lifestyle.
- The person who is unsure if he or she is saved or who is wavering in their faith
- The person who does not realize that God has a plan and purpose for his or her life.
- The person who mixes Christianity with some other religious expression
- The person who is too emotionally wounded to receive The Good News
- The person who does not understand the spiritual application of biblical truth
- The person who is “caught up in” the cares of this world
- The person who does not understand that “good works” will not save him or her.
- The intellectual or academic person who considers the Bible antiquated and therefore, irrelevant.
Jesus wants every person to know Him and to experience His love. Genuine Christians are the carriers of His truth and His love, to friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family. Sharing copies of this book will help you fulfill the Great Commission.
Having the Mind of Christ is filled will lively and relevant teaching that is simple to read and easy to understand. This 260-page study will answer questions about the biblical basis for salvation–what it is and what it is not. David McFadden uses word pictures, diagrams, illustrations, analogies, and more to convey God’s life-changing truth that comes from His word.
Chapters cover topics such as: what it means to be “in Christ,” the battle for your mind, the “narrow gate,” worship, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, having an assurance of salvation, conditions of the heart that frustrate and separate, God’s desire for freedom and healing, and much more. Whether you are a seeker or a mature Christian you will find ministry and discipleship in this rich study.
Unsolicited Book Review
For those who want to develop a closer relationship with God, "Having the Mind of Christ" is a must-read. David McFadden details in an easy to read format the process of becoming a Christian with the ultimate goal of realizing an intimate, personal relationship with Christ. Through receiving and sharing the infinite and unconditional love that God offers, we gain spiritual insight into what it means to have the mind of Christ.
"Having the Mind of Christ" is not a book of philosophy, but a significant Christian scriptural resource with examples on how to live God’s word and how to develop and/or deepen a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I personally received a breakthrough in my life while reading and studying the last chapter that deals with God’s desire to heal a wounded heart.Beginners, as well as veteran Christians in the faith, now have a path and go-to reference in Having the Mind of Christ. This book will help you better understand how to pray, how to forgive, how to repair personal wounds of the heart, and how to have Jesus in your daily life. I particularly liked the final section of supporting materials and resources, especially “The Redemption Story,” David’s “Prayer of Salvation” and “What it Means to be a Fruitful Christian.”
I firmly believe that a greater understanding of scripture is necessary so the aspiring Christian can mature in the faith. This is because a person with little knowledge of God’s word can be misled when a scripture verse is misused or quoted out of context. David puts together relevant scriptures on a given topic and ties them together with minimal commentary, making the truth of God’s word easy to see. This approach allows you to apply God’s word to your life, according to James 1:22-25. I highly recommend this book… in my opinion, it is well worth the money and investment of time." —David W. Hurt

Prayer by the Book
Prayer by the Book – How to Pray Effectively
Like me, are you one of those who will finally read the assembly instructions only after you become frustrated? Have you jumped in to try something before you learn how to do it properly? We all have done it. Similarly, we instinctively know that prayer should somehow fit into our daily life as a Christian, so we just do it, hoping for the best. Or how about the times when you avoid praying because you lack confidence and don’t want other people to know it?
Prayer by the Book will carefully guide you into having fruitful and effective prayer. You will no longer feel the need to avoid praying because you are unfamiliar with what to say or do. You will learn how to convey the desires of your heart and your words will be according to God’s pattern and design. No one wants to pray amiss when the stakes are high. And most importantly, you will discover how to develop your relationship with God so that He becomes your all-in-all. When you make your prayer about Him, everything changes.
Helping people overcome inexperience and timidity are my main goals for writing this book. Using the Bible as the source of all wisdom and knowledge gives us the pathway to step into effective prayer. God’s Word gives us knowledge and wisdom that relate to every aspect of living so that we may be successful in our relationship with Him and with other people, making our relationships vibrant and life-giving. The power of prayer infused with His Word brings Light and Life to our world. But to what End?—That He may be glorified!
How do we do this? By prayer offered in Jesus’ name. Through Jesus, God beckons you to come boldly into His presence where prayer becomes a by-product of an intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. It is there that Jesus gifts His believers with overcoming confidence through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is in Him that we live and move and have our being.
